The Madison Hotel in Washington D.C. 🏨🇺🇸
It’s my second time in D.C., and once again I chose The Madison Hotel last-minute—partly because they never upgrade me to the top floor (lol), but mostly because it’s great value and includes M Club Lounge access! 😄 Located right in downtown D.C., the hotel is super close to the White House, the National Mall, museums, and memorials—most major attractions are just a 15-minute walk away. 🚶♂️🏛️ 🚗 Transportation: If you’re visiting East Coast cities like D.C., don’t bother driving yourself. Parking at The Madison costs at least $45/day (valet optional). Better to walk or use public transport! 🛏 Room: The room was modern and clean. I got upgraded to a double queen room—theoretically fits four, but hey, one person can totally sprawl across both beds! 😴🛏️🛏️ 💻 Gym & Internet: The gym was well-equipped (typical for U.S. hotels), but non-members have to pay over $10 for Wi-Fi… If you’re not a member or a reviewer, maybe book somewhere with free internet? Just saying! 📵 🧖 Sauna: No sauna in the hotel—but honestly, walking outside in D.C. humidity feels like a free steam session anyway! 🌡️💦 🍳 Dining: M Club Lounge serves British-style breakfast from 7:00–10:00 AM: cereal, fruit, pastries, soft drinks—classic "white people food," but handy! 🥐☕ If you get to choose between continental breakfast or bonus points, go for the points—the lobby breakfast is almost the same! (Don’t ask how I know 😉) From 5:00–7:00 PM, the lounge offers light snacks and complimentary wine served by a staff member. Grab a bite, then head out for a proper steak dinner! 🥩🍷 Alright, that’s my take! Wishing everyone happy travels! ✈️❤️ Have you stayed at The Madison?
