The Mini Train at Houston Downtown Aquarium Is So Fun to Ride
Weekend Visit to Houston Downtown Aquarium: More Than Just "Petting Fish"🐟 😊This weekend, I checked out the aquarium in downtown Houston. Besides "petting fish" (interacting with small aquatic creatures), I saw a big tiger and rode the underwater mini train 🚂—the experience of looking up and seeing sharks swim overhead was so unique 👏!🍐🎼 💎 The aquarium isn’t large in total area, but it has three indoor floors. The first floor features various marine life and reptiles. 🐵 Even on a weekend, the crowd wasn’t too big, the lighting was good, and there were plenty of photo-worthy spots 📷! 🌹You can also see a chubby tiger, plus an area to interact with manta rays—they’re very friendly, and their smooth skin is so nice to touch 🪸! 💎 The second floor is home to a restaurant. The dishes 🍝 are generally average, but the highlight is that there are fish swimming on the wall.🍉🍉 The restaurant also has a bar, but the cocktails are not recommended—way too sweet 🥸! 💎 Outside, there are a mini train, Ferris wheel, drop tower, and carousel. 👀 The lines for the rides aren’t long at all, so they’re worth trying! The mini train 🚂 is a must-ride—there’s a commentary throughout the trip, and the shark tunnel is beautiful and fun, letting you watch sharks swim above you. The Ferris wheel is also super photo-worthy 🫧! 💎 The ticket prices are reasonable. You can buy an all-day pass directly on the official website to enjoy unlimited access to all rides. For parking 🅿️, valet parking costs $18 and self-parking is $15.❣️❣️ 🧊 Summary: It’s not big, but all the attractions are fun. It’s a great place for a family outing or a date. You can finish exploring in 2-3 hours, no need to walk much—even wearing high heels for photos works perfectly #OneDayTrip #TravelDiary #Aquarium #Houston
