The Old American Northwest: The Twin Cities of Minnesota (2)πŸŒ…πŸŒŸ

Minneapolis' Attractions Center Around the Mississippi River πŸŒ… πŸ’› The unique Mill City Museum, built in the 1990s, is located on the site of the former world's largest flour mill. A devastating fire once marked the decline of the city's flour industry here. 🌊 Since then, the government and citizens have built many theaters, restaurants, and museums starting from this spot, turning it into an emerging cultural park. 🩡 When you search for "Art Museum in Minnesota" on Google, it lists 25 museums, with the Minneapolis Institute of Art at the top. The third floor features European and American cultures, while the second floor showcases the cultures of Asia, Africa, South America, and Native Americans. The exhibition halls are very spacious. We had originally planned to spend half a day exploring, but we only managed to cover one floor before lunch, which shows just how extensive this museum is. 🌊 It's safe to say that this museum is a big fan of Chinese culture, with exhibits spanning thousands of years of Chinese history. For example, it has brought in a room and porch from a wealthy family in Suzhou, as well as a traditional Japanese tea room. 🌊 It's recommended to allocate 5 hours to fully appreciate the exhibits here. If you're short on time, a quick walk-through with occasional stops to look at the exhibits should take about 2 hours. 🌊 Other recommendations include the Sculpture Museum and the Walker Art Center, which hosts lively markets on weekends. #Minneapolis πŸ°πŸ“œπŸŒŸ
