The Perfect French-Inspired Hideaway for Birthday Celebrations 🎂✨

Tucked away near the trendy Melrose Avenue, The Little Door is a charming restaurant that’s gained quite the reputation—definitely recommend making a reservation ahead of time! Many people love celebrating birthdays here because they offer a complimentary dessert cake 🍰, and the service is warm and attentive. 🥂 True to its name, the entrance is easy to miss—it’s literally a little door! Luckily, there’s valet parking staff outside to help guide you in. 🚗💁♂️ The food is pretty standard Western fare—nothing extraordinary, but nicely presented (as you can see in the photos). After the meal, they bring over a small blackboard to choose your dessert cake flavor—it’s decent, though not mind-blowing. The total for two people came out to around ¥1400 RMB including tip—not cheap, but reasonable for the experience. 💸 The ambiance is cozy and intimate, though it can get quite noisy inside—not the best for clear conversation. I noticed most guests were friends chatting and enjoying their meals rather than flashy influencers taking photos with bright lights—refreshingly genuine! That said, the lighting is quite dim, so if you’re hoping for bright, Instagrammable shots, it might be challenging. A few moody snaps to capture the moment will do just fine. 📸✨ Have you been to The Little Door? What was your experience like—especially if you celebrated a special occasion there?
