The Pizza of My Life, Tasted in Rome
My trip to Italy was truly perfect—not only did I have the "pasta of my life," but I also found the "pizza of my life" in Rome! Actually, we checked out other pizza spots recommended on Xiaohongshu during our stay in Rome, but their flavors were really just so-so 😂. On our last day, we found this place on Google with a 4.7 rating and decided to give it a try—and we were totally blown away by how delicious it was! I prefer milder flavors, and this pizza wasn’t salty at all. The crust, in particular, was so crispy—it crumbled with every bite, and it had a nice thin base 🍕. The owner said everything, from the crust and sauce to the bacon and other ingredients, is 100% homemade 🧑🍳. The restaurant was full of local Italians—we didn’t see any Chinese visitors. Lots of nearby residents even came to pack up several boxes to take home 📦. We originally only planned to order two pizzas to try, but right after the first bite, we immediately added two more. Honestly, we could’ve even eaten one more! 😋 The pizzas come in "regular" and "mini" sizes. A mini is usually only €3 cheaper than a regular, but half the size—so the regular size is much better value for money 💰. 📍 Pinsitaly Trevi 1. My friend and I both agree the Top 1 is the Mexico flavor 🌶️! Its seasoning deserves a full 100 points. The homemade bacon is incredibly fragrant, and the spicy sauce isn’t too hot. Just writing about it makes my mouth water 🤤. 2. My second favorite is the eggplant pizza 🥒. I can’t remember its exact name, but it should be the only pizza on the menu with eggplant. It’s paired with homemade nduja, which also has a very mild spiciness. Who knew eggplant could taste this good on pizza! 3. If you love Rome’s carbonara flavor, you should definitely try their carbonara pizza 🥚. It also comes with homemade bacon. I’ve never been a fan of carbonara pasta at other restaurants, but this carbonara pizza is totally to my taste. 4. Compared to the above, the Margherita is just decent with simple toppings. But since the crust is so amazing, it’s still really tasty! #Italy #ItalianFood #ItalyTravel #Pizza #Rome #FoodExploration
