The Twilight of the Gods | Athens Citywalk
🌟“I met the world, I consumed myself in it, I did not fail in my mission, thus I gathered with all beings.” — Socrates 🌇Personally, I find the most beautiful moment in Athens to be at sunset. The streets during the day have a low saturation, giving off a gentle hue of blue and white. As the sun sets, the light becomes soft and dreamy, as if traversing through time. 🌍This time, I bought a 30 euro Acropolis combo ticket and fiercely visited all the attractions in a single day. On the ruins, I encountered the divine presence of Socrates and Plato. 📍The neoclassical trilogy (Athens University, Library, and Academy of Athens) is magnificent. I especially love the Athena at the Academy of Sciences. The Acropolis now closes at 7:30 PM starting from September. I wasn’t able to witness the most beautiful sunset from the top and was ushered out, lingering at the back, taking a step back with each glance. If you want to see the sunset glow, in a month’s time when the sunset is earlier, it should be visible again. #Travel #Greece #Europe #Athens #Photography #Architecture #Citywalk #Sunset #TsinghuaUnionInnovationPlan #MySummerLifeAwards
