The Ultimate Fried Chicken in the US | Church's Chicken š
šš» Having been in Houston for so long, there are two types of food that Iāve always craved: one is German roast meat, and the other is fried chicken. š I had tried two pieces of fried chicken at a local shop in the village before and thought it was just so-so. I was under the impression that Texas fried chicken wouldnāt be anything special until Jason, a friend of Phil, strongly recommended Churchās Chicken. After doing some research, I found quite a few positive reviews. I quickly looked up the nearest location and rushed over to try it. šš» We bought 5 drumsticks, 5 thighs, 3 honey butter biscuits, a bag of fries, and a bag of fried okra (I had no idea okra could be cooked like this. At first, I thought it was some kind of ādark cuisineā). 𤩠It was truly delicious! The fried chicken was incredibly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. With every bite, there was a satisfying crunch. I finally understood the charm of American-style fried chicken and ended up eating three drumsticks in one go. š¤ As for the fried okra, it was pretty good too. The only downside was that it felt a bit sticky in the mouth after the initial crunch, which took some getting used to. The honey butter biscuits were also great, with a sweet exterior and a slightly salty interior. ā Does anyone have any other delicious fried chicken recommendations? #Houston #FriedChicken #AmericanFriedChicken #ChurchsChicken #HoustonLife #TexasFriedChicken #FriedChickenRecommendations #FoodRecommendations #HoustonFood
