The Ultimate Tromsø Dining Experience 🍲
Who can understand the value of this meal in Tromsø? 😍 Dining with good friends in a cozy Nordic cabin, enjoying the view outside while savoring hot king crab 🦀 and hot pot noodles—truly blissful! Since we booked an Airbnb, we mostly cooked our own meals during our stay in Norway. After a long day of activities, it was always nice to come back to our cozy nest and enjoy a home-cooked meal. 😋 Recommended Recipes: 1️⃣ Steamed King Crab 🦀 & Arctic Sweet Shrimp 🦐 🍴 Restaurant Name: Dragøy 🕑 Opening Hours: 11:00/12:00-17:00 📍 Address: Stortorget 1, 9008 Tromsø, Norway 💰 Price: The king crab in the picture weighs about 50 pounds! 2️⃣ Seafood Porridge with Fish Broth 🍲 Buy popular fish broth powder from the supermarket, boil it, add rice and frozen seafood from the supermarket, and voilà—a delicious seafood porridge is ready! 3️⃣ Hot Pot Medley 🍲 If you’re staying in an Airbnb, make sure to bring your own hot pot base! It’s super convenient and delicious. You can buy your favorite ingredients from the supermarket (highly recommend fish cakes and spicy meatballs from Coop for your hot pot). 4️⃣ Warming Mutton Soup 🍲 In cold places, it’s essential to eat more mutton to stay warm. We found that mutton is quite affordable in Norwegian supermarkets. If you know how to cook, I highly recommend making a bowl of hot mutton soup. ‼️ Supermarket Must-Buys: Check out other travelers' recommendations for what to buy at the supermarket. The strawberry milk and rice pudding we tried were particularly delicious. And the one thing we couldn’t live without during our trip was Liu Po chili powder—everything tastes better with it! 😊 #Tromso #Norway #CookingInNorway #StudentLife #HomemadeMeals
