There's Actually a 馃嚝馃嚪 Napoleon Museum in Rome
鉁匫n a whim, I decided to create a series for everyone on "Exploring Rome for Free," rounding up all the free tourist spots in Rome. I'll keep adding more when I have time, and I hope you all enjoy it! 鉁匒s its name suggests, the Museo Napoleonico, or Napoleon Museum, is a historical museum dedicated to displaying Napoleon memorabilia. The collection mainly comes from the donation by Count Giuseppe Primoli to the city of Rome in 1927. 鉁匱he interior decoration of the museum, much like Napoleon's life, has a strong vintage and somewhat faded grandeur vibe, which is quite distinctive. 鉁匱he exhibits include portraits of Napoleon and his family, his personal belongings, and family collections. History buffs will definitely get lost in this museum! 鉁匱he museum's location is also very convenient, right across the river from the Roman Supreme Court and close to Castel Sant'Angelo. If you're walking around Rome, you'll likely pass by it鈥攕o don't miss out! 馃憠 Opening hours: 10 AM - 6 PM daily (closed on Mondays) 馃挌 Free admission, no reservation required Museo Napoleonico #Rome #RomanHoliday #RomeTravel #RomeMuseum #FreeRomeMuseum #Napoleon
