Searched for a good Italian restaurant that had a mix of classical Italian and homestyle italian food, this was it. My party of three made a reservation on open table without issue and were promptly seated when we arrived. The atmosphere was very nicely decorated, the restaurant overall is small. They had an easy to read menu that had a variety of good options but our waitress was able to tell us about 15 other specials that were not on the menu. It would have been nice if they had an extra print off menu with these temporary items but she repeated for us when we had Questions. I tried the chicken parm and the chicken franceses, both which were very fresh, flavorful, soft and delicious. Cooked perfectly. The dishes are all served with a vegetable and with classic gnocci in a red sauce. All delicious. The food took a while to cook but we were given bread prior to the meal. The restaurant is BYOB. At the end of our meal the owner brought us a tiramisu on the house with fresh grapes over ice which was the best tiramisu I’ve had in my life!!!! It was so kind. The staff was so nice and we spent a good amount of time talking to them. They invited us to come again. Overall it was a lovely dinner and I would highly recommend. We will definitely return. One more thing - CASH ONLY! There’s a PNC Atm next door.

We visited from New York and we had an amazing time at this restaurant. All the food was fantastic. We had a few specials and a few items off the menu. We got the burrata and meatballs in the appetizer and both were super delicious. The Caesar salad was also really great. For entrees people in the group got lobster ravioli , the special gnocchi, spinach gnocchi, cheese ravioli and the special salmon farfalle. All the dishes were very tasty. For the dessert we ordered the cannoli and chocolate cake and was given a tiramisu by the server. The tiramisu was one of the best desserts I ever had. Overall it was such a memorable experience due to the impeccable service and attention that was provided to us. Was a dinner we will never forget! If you are in Philly it’s a must try!! (All the meat on the menu is halal as an added bonus :) )

I gave Gnocchi a chance, in spite of mixed reviews. Unfortunately, my experience tonight joins the one star list. I ordered the antipasto cheese plate, which was surprisingly bad. It was plated on warm lettuce with cheese tossed all over the plate; the cheese itself was also underwhelming. Thankfully we were allowed to send this dish back and have it removed from our ticket. I also ordered one of the chicken plates and my girlfriend had a gnocchi dish. The gnocchi on both dishes was incredibly dry and my chicken was served in what appeared to be some left over chicken broth from its time in the microwave. I have never before had to turn and run from a restaurant, but I did so tonight after parting with $60--an expensive lesson in where not to eat in Philly, if you ask me.

Coming here I was excepting the original prices for the food listed on their site and google. However, arriving to the restaurant they had a special Valentine’s Day menu which was 60$ per person and we didn’t have the option of ordering off the original menu. Me and my partner were originally planning to spend around 32-50 dollars for both of us however this wasn’t apart of the plan. They never notified us about the menu change nor did they tell us about the price of it and the amount of money compared to the amount of food we got was not it. However the food was good there was no doubt about that but the change of price was extreme. Not only did we except the meal to be 120$ after that but it wasn’t. They added a 24$ “gratitude” fee which I’m assuming is tip but we didn’t get chose how much we wanted to tip. Also without being notified that it’s a cash only restaurant and I had to run to three different atms two of them were in the neighboring bars. The total of the meal came up to 153$ Which is an insane price for what we got. The staff was kind and the servers were nice too but you expect that for 153$ I would recommend going on a day that isn’t a holiday and if your making reservations here I recommend you don’t say it’s for a special occasion or you might get gitted out of 150+$ from here. Also, if you are vegan or vegetarian I don’t recommend coming here since there wasn’t many vegan options presented to us same if you also have dietary restrictions. Also when I left to get more money out of the ATM my girlfriend was naturally worried since I didn’t come back fast enough however when the manager of the store returned he came flicking around a pocket knife scaring my girlfriend to her thinking that I got stabbed. A manager shouldn’t be wielding a knife in...

Gr8 food. I had braised lamb shank with risotto and my wife had gnocchi filled with mascarpone and ricotta-- both entrees were phenomenal. The other couple had potato gnocchi bolognese-- they cleaned their plates. We had a 7:30 Saturday night reservation-- the restaurant which isn't very big (maybe 20-25 tables) was packed and people were waiting inside and outside for a table. Fortunately, we were seated around 7:50. Very loud and hard to hear conversation as the tables are very close together, but our server who was very attentive made sure we heard the specials and her recommendations. Service ran a bit slow because the kitchen was so backed up with orders, but we ordered 3 appetizers-- Burrata (very fresh & tasty mozzarella with sliced tomatoes drizzled with olive oil), portabella mushrooms, and mussels in red sauce. Our server kept our water glasses full and replenished our bread as needed, apologizing for the kitchen's delays, and then she brought a 4th app, marinated green beans which were really tasty, on the house for putting up with the delays. After dinner, our server brought us a generous serving of tiramisu-- a nice presentation and so light and fresh-- which we shared, and again on the house. Then I ordered a slice of limoncello cake-- very light and tasty and a nice finish to a superb meal--to share with my wife and the other couple shared cannolis. Those desserts were ALSO on the house! BYOB and an outside parking lot down the street ($25 on Saturday nights, and worth it). Wonderful dining experience and definitely like to return probably during the week when...

Went recently to celebrate an anniversary. The service was terrible - despite only a few other diners, we were ignored and not given menus or water for 45 minutes despite asking three times. In addition our server seemed like he was drunk and struggled to light the candle at our table since he was swaying all over the place. He also spilled water on us when he filled the glasses. We had to get up from the table and ask for things multiple times after the server had promised to bring them like bread (finally came at the end of the meal) and water (also only refilled at the end of the meal) and had to wait long periods of time for everything. When our food finally arrived it was cold and the portions were tiny. It tasted like reheated microwave pasta. We had been here a year ago and were impressed with the portions and food quality so something has changed. The restaurant was also extremely loud and we couldn’t hear ourselves or the server despite practically screaming at each other. Our dinner lasted three hours (not by choice) and we missed our show reservation after the dinner.

We were extremely disappointed with the service, atmosphere, and quality of food. It was the strangest and worst dining experience we’ve ever had. It felt like we wandered into someone’s kitchen after they were out drinking and had to bribe them to serve us. It ruined the entire night and was nothing like the classy, romantic restaurant...
