The new Matcha Cafe Maiko in Monterey Park is a game-changer! I tried the mixed Maiko Special and it was absolutely incredible. Rich matcha π΅ + vanilla ice cream (huge portion!) with mochi π‘, matcha chiffon cake, chestnuts π°, matcha jelly, sweet red bean paste π«, and crispy corn flakes β so many layers of flavor and texture itβs hard to describe! Perfect for sharing between two, beautifully presented, and not too sweet β it literally made me happy with every spoonful.
