This is hands down the best Japanese food I've ever had in LA! ๐ŸŒธ

Weekend beach day vibes! ๐Ÿ–๏ธ We visited a Japanese restaurant not far from the beach! We were super lucky to catch their weekend specials! ๐ŸŒŸ Any wine for just $6! Some drinks can be refilled for an extra $1! Plus, there were special dishes only available on weekends! We definitely came to the right place! ๐ŸŒŸ I started with a cocktail ๐Ÿธ to whet my appetite. It was delicious and super easy to drink! ๐ŸŒŸ For appetizers, I had oysters ๐Ÿฆช with sea urchin and fish roe. The freshness was off the charts! The fish roe was large and burst in your mouth, so aromatic! The sea urchin and oysters were incredibly sweet and fresh! ๐ŸŒŸ Crispy deep-fried enoki mushrooms! They were super crispy, fragrant, and paired perfectly with the cocktail. So yummy! ๐ŸŒŸ One-bite cheese mushrooms These were packed with mushrooms, cheese, and garlic. Not greasy at all! So flavorful! Love it! ๐ŸŒŸ Black truffle eel Delicious! The black truffle and eel were a perfect match. The sauce on top was amazing, and the eel was perfectly cooked and flavorful! This is the best eel dish I've ever had in a Japanese restaurant! ๐ŸŒŸ Jellyfish This was the freshest, crispest, and most delicious jellyfish I've ever had! ๐ŸŒŸ Soy sauce octopus ๐Ÿ™ The octopus legs were tender and chewy, packed with meat! ๐ŸŒŸ One-bite snow crab The crab meat was incredibly sweet and paired with crispy baguette pieces. Perfect for sipping drinks! ๐ŸŒŸ Thick-cut pork The texture of the meat was amazingโ€”perfectly marbled and not greasy at all! It was so flavorful and came with a soft-boiled egg. Pure comfort food! ๐ŸŒŸ White wine Aromatic and so easy to drink. Perfect for a weekend buzz! ๐ŸŒŸ Tempura shrimp, eel, and avocado roll Each piece was packed with large chunks of avocado, shrimp, and eelโ€”perfectly matched flavors and all my favorite ingredients! After eating this, all my worries disappeared. I was just happy! ๐ŸŒŸ Fried octopus legs These were also delicious! The batter was flavorful, thin, and crispyโ€”pure meat goodness! โœจ To top it all off, they gave us complimentary dessert! (So amazing!) We had tempura ice cream, which was absolutely delicious! ๐Ÿจ โœจ The ambiance of the restaurant was fantastic!
