This is the Real Auckland... 🌿✨
They say "God created New Zealand first, then modeled heaven after it." Living in New Zealand felt like a long, beautiful dream 😴💭. If I didn’t have to return for school, I would’ve stayed for half a year—no regrets! Compared to crowded hotspots like France, Italy, or Switzerland, New Zealand is blissfully peaceful 🏞️. The landscapes are pristine, almost spiritually cleansing. Mount Cook stole my heart! That milky-blue lake reflecting snow-capped peaks? Pure magic 🏔❄️. This time, I joined a small, flexible tour group (with plenty of free time!) to truly live like a local. Slow mornings by lakeside towns ☀️, evenings watching sunsets over mountains and lakes 🌄—it was the ultimate antidote to burnout. My 10-Day Itinerary 📅 D1 ✈ Auckland D2 Auckland → Queenstown → Te Anau (glowworm cave kayaking!) 🛶💡 D3 Te Anau → Milford Sound cruise → Queenstown ⛴️ D4 Queenstown free day! (Fergburger, anyone? 🍔) D5 Queenstown → Dunedin 🏰 D6 Dunedin → Mt. Cook → Moeraki Boulders → Oamaru (penguins!) → FREE stargazing 🌌 D7 Mt. Cook → Christchurch → "Turkish Blue" Lake Tekapo 💙 D8 Christchurch → Rotorua → Hobbiton 🧙♂️ + Redwoods 🌲 D9 Rotorua → Auckland → Alpaca cuddles 🦙 + sheep-shearing show ✂️ D10 ✈ Auckland → Shanghai Tour Experience 🚐💺 Our 20-seater luxury van was so comfy—I napped like a baby 😴. The guide was amazing, even tipped us off on where to buy souvenirs cheaply! Only downside? Hotel breakfasts were all croissants + fruit + coffee... I craved Chinese breakfasts so badly I miss youuu 😭 Final Thoughts 💬 Returning from NZ, I felt disoriented—like waking up from a dream. Kiwis live so chill. They’ve mastered the art of guilt-free relaxation: wasting time beautifully, doing "useless" but soul-nourishing things. I’m moving to NZ someday—mark my words! 🇳🇿 If you ever get the chance, GO. It’s a life-changing experience you’ll never regret. #NewZealand #NZLife #TravelNZ #MustVisitNZ #HeavenOnEarth #Auckland
