This isn’t Switzerland, it’s autumn in Seattle!
📍 Picture Lake I’ve often gazed at the famous Mt. Baker from I405, but this time, I met up with friends from Vancouver at the meeting point between Seattle and Vancouver. We gathered at the renowned Picture Lake by Mt. Baker, bringing our puppies along for a puppy date 🐕 You can drive right up to the lakeside viewpoint. The trail is short and mostly flat, perfect for letting the little dogs run free 🪁. Looking out from the lake, you can see the majestic Mt. Shuksan in the distance, painted in the vibrant colors of early autumn, resembling an oil painting 🖼️. 📍 Artist Ridge After walking by the lake, you can drive all the way up to the summit. The山顶 offers a vast expanse of snow-capped mountains and clouds ☁️. Another day mesmerized by Seattle’s natural beauty. It’s about a 2.5-hour drive north from the city, and it gets quite cold, so make sure to bundle up 🧣. #Seattle #SeattleWeekend #WhereToGoInSeattle #SeattleLittleSwitzerland #SeattleMtBaker #SeattleSnowMountains #SeattleDogs
