Top Places to Visit in Boston 21/100
L.A. Burdick Handmade Chocolates ๐ซโจ ๐ 1330 Beacon St, Brookline, MA 02446 (There are three locations in Boston: Brookline, Newbury, and Cambridge) During Thursdayโs heavy rain, sitting in the cafรฉ sipping hot chocolate while watching the rain was pure bliss โ๏ธ๐ง๏ธ. A cup of their rich hot chocolate warms you right up! They offer three sweetness levels: Dark, Milk, and White. I always go for the Milk Chocolate โ so smooth and comforting. My friend tried the Matcha White Chocolate, which was also delicious ๐ต๐ค โ matcha on top, white chocolate at the bottom. This little raspberry chocolate mouse cake looked absolutely adorable and tasty ๐ญ๐ฐ! (Update on desserts: We tried two โ the Raspberry Chocolate Cake and the Earl Grey Mousse Cake. Both were perfectly sweet, not overly sugary like typical American desserts. The raspberry one is slightly tangy with a balanced chocolate flavor and a firmer texture. The Earl Grey cake had a strong tea flavor and was filled with fresh blueberries! ๐ซ๐ You can even order these in birthday cake sizes and customize them with chocolate lettering โ just remember to preorder!) Their chocolate boxes and drinking chocolate mixes make wonderful gifts ๐โค๏ธ. The drinking chocolate set even comes with a mini whisk! The Brookline location feels more spacious and elegant compared to the one in Cambridge ๐๏ธ. All three stores have a charming European vibe, but the new shopโs pink wallpaper and velvet-backed chairs totally won me over ๐๐ช. When Iโm in Brookline, I usually also visit the vinyl record store ๐, Boston General Store ๐๏ธ, and the Thursday Brookline Farmersโ Market ๐ฅ๐ฝ. Summer fruits and veggies here are so fresh and delicious! (Thereโs also a nice smoothie place nearby ๐ฅค๐.) ๐ท๏ธ #LABurdick #HotChocolate #BrooklineEats #BostonDesserts #ChocolateLover #BostonGems
