Totems of Juneau, Alaska 🏔️🎭

Beyond its stunning backdrop of cascading waterfalls, Juneau is also known for its beautiful and distinctive totem poles! These colorful totem poles can be found throughout the town, each telling a unique story and adding deep cultural charm to the streets. 🪶🌲 Though we only had a short time to explore—not nearly enough to fully understand the meanings behind these artistic symbols—their presence left a lasting impression. Who knows when we’ll see them again? ✨❤️ 📝 Travel Diary | September 22, 2023 We didn’t disembark until 1 PM—Juneau was just a half-day stop! ⏳ After breakfast, we walked five laps around Deck 7 (each lap took about 10 minutes 🚶‍♀️💨). Then I joined a stretching session in the Wheelhouse until I broke a light sweat 💪🧘. For lunch, I tried the British pub-style fish and chips at the International Room 🐟🍟—so fun! But the pudding dessert didn’t agree with me… Note to self: probably lactose intolerance 😅🥛 When it was time to go ashore, everyone crowded onto Deck 6. The line wrapped all through the casino 🎰! We finally made it into Juneau at 12:45 PM.
