Toulouse | Being a Happy Tourist in the Pink City · Guide Sharing
How to explore Toulouse? Be sure to plan according to your own interests — everyone who comes to Toulouse will find something they love to do! This J-type blogger is sharing my rough "lazy traveler" guide (*^^*) 👇 Worth a visit · Place du Capitole The city hall square, the heart of Toulouse · Saint-Sernin Basilica + Clocher Romanesque church with a bell tower · Marché Victor Hugo Local food market · Quais de la Garonne Garonne River banks, as chill as the Seine · Pont neuf New Bridge, perfect for photo checks · Canal du Midi Great for walks or runs along the canal · Jardin Japonais A cute little Japanese garden 👇 Museum-type attractions · Couvent des Jacobins Jacobin Monastery · Fondation Bemberg Hôtel d’Assézat (featuring Impressionist works and Picasso) · Les Abattoirs Contemporary art · Muséum de Toulouse Natural history museum · Halle de la Machine Cool giant mechanical creatures · Musée Saint-Raymond Archaeological museum 👇 Must-visit for aerospace enthusiasts · Aeroscopia Aviation museum · Cité de l’Espace Space exploration center · You can also book a visit to Airbus headquarters 🌟 Around Toulouse, there are also stunning Carcassonne, Albi, and the "Sky City" villages (guide already posted, with super beautiful photos 👇) - 🌟 Transportation You can directly tap your credit card when boarding the metro or bus — super convenient! A single ticket is €1.80. The city center is walkable, so you probably won’t need a day pass~ Toulouse has an airport, and the airport bus is also convenient! 🌟 Food & drinks When in Toulouse, you must try the local specialty: Cassoulet (baked bean casserole)! Check out the photos for the delicious spots I’ve tried: French restaurant Bistroquet à la Une, tapas bar La Mesa de Lola, Chinese restaurant Au Vieux Pékin, ramen at Mizuki Ramen, Yogolicious self-serve frozen yogurt, and 🥖 Boulangerie Bio Artisanale (cute logo, and their chocolatine is *so* good!). There are also amazing Thai and Vietnamese restaurants — maybe next time! I love Toulouse so much, hope you all have a great time too 💖 #Travel #Tourism #ToulouseTravel #ToulouseTourism
