Toulouse One-Day Itinerary
Toulouse – the fourth largest city in France, known as "Ville Rose" (Pink City) due to its red brick architecture. 📍 City Hall + Square, Cathédrale Saint-Étienne P2-P5 A very large cathedral, with beautiful red buildings around it 💒 (great for photos 📷). It takes about an hour to visit. ⬇️ 900m 🚶 13min 📍 Restaurant 🍽️ Maison du cassoulet P6 A must-try dish in Toulouse. A restaurant frequented by locals. My friend and I ordered a set meal 🍲. There are two options: €28.5 (appetizer + main course / main course + dessert) and €35. The taste was quite good. ⬇️ 1.7km 🚶 24min 📍 Toulouse Museum (Muséum de Toulouse) P7 The museum is 50 meters to the right after entering the botanical garden. Tickets are required: €9 for adults / €5 for students. It’s free on the first Sunday of every month (I went on a Saturday, so I missed the free tickets – definitely coming back next time!). ⬇️ 1.5km 🚶 20min 📍 Jacobin Church ⛪️ Couvent des Jacobins P8-9 There were young ladies handing out perfume samples on the way – got some freebies! There’s a grassy area inside the church; you can sit on the nearby platform to rest and take photos 📷. ⬇️ 800m 🚶 11min 📍 Basilica of Saint-Sernin ⛪️ Basilique Saint-Sernin P10-11 The church closes at 5:30 PM – be sure to note the time 🕠! Personally, I think it’s similar to the previous churches. If you’re short on time, check out the small shops in the nearby neighborhood – they’re really fun to browse. #Travel #Tourism #ToulouseTravel #ToulouseTourism
