Traditional Flavors from an Old-School Electric Oven
🍕We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon to grab a slice of pizza, opting for the classic cheese and pepperoni. 🍕This old-school pizzeria that insists on using traditional family-style electric ovens did not disappoint—the crust was airy and chewy, with enticingly charred edges, and the tomato sauce, made fresh daily, had a refreshing tang. 🍊Caserta Pizzeria was generous with the pepperoni slices, and when the fats melted into the crust, it became exceptionally fragrant. 🍊The cheese had a perfect stretch, offering that classic old-school mozzarella texture. The owner kindly gave us an extra corner piece to try—a small but heartwarming gesture. 🍁The shop retains its mid-century charm, with green-tiled walls and neon signs evoking a strong sense of nostalgia. The prices are very reasonable—just $4 for a slice, with free parking included, which is quite rare in the Federal Hill area. 🍁 I’ve heard their spinach pie is also a signature dish, with many Italian grandmothers specifically coming to buy it. #TraditionalPizza #FamilyBakery #Providence
