This little city is full of surprises, and 3 days & 2 nights is the perfect amount of time to explore, relaxed and rejuvenatedļ½ āŗļø āļø Transport Tips Savannah has its own airport, so flying from Chicago is super convenientļ½ The best part: no need to rent a car! šā The city is small, so getting around by Uber/Lyft is quick. Pro tip: Uber is slightly cheaper than Lyft here, save those dollars! ā šØ Where to Stay Highly recommend staying near Savannah River! Itās lively at night with twinkling lights, and great for evening walksļ½ I stayed at Hyatt Regency Savannahāright by the river, fully equipped, and the lobby decor is chefās kiss (you can see it at the start of my video, isnāt it beautiful?!)ļ½ Walking distance to historic districts and restaurants, perfect for lazy travelersļ½ š” Must-Do Activities Trolley Bus Tour Definitely buy a ticket! The driver takes you to every landmark, sharing Savannahās history and stories of old mansions along the wayāitās like listening to an audiobook, so interestingļ½ You can hop on and off anytime, rest when youāre tired, explore when youāre curiousāideal for easy sightseeing! šāØ Tybee Island Dolphin Tour I booked this on Expedia, and itās so reliable! Get a combo ticket for all three museumsāitās way more ļ½ There are classic paintings, modern art, and vintage home exhibits. You could easily spend half a day here, and itās great for photos šØ š“ Food You Canāt Miss Treylor Park š® Their Shrimp&Grits Taco is life-changing! š¦ Juicy shrimp, creamy grits inside a taco shell, sprinkled with chili flakesāfresh, savory, and a little spicy, all in one biteļ½ I went back specifically for it before leaving, thatās how obsessed I was! The Olde Pink House š½ A stunning century-old restaurant with pink exterior (so Instagrammable!)ļ½ I ordered the Crab Stuffed Black Grouperāthe fish is melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the crab is sweet and rich; grilled oysters and fried pork chops were amazing too! But the star: š¹ their signature Pink Lady drink, sweet-tart and refreshing, perfect with seafood. I had two, no regrets! Maple Street Biscuit Company š When in Savannah, try their iconic biscuit sandwichļ½ Fluffy biscuits stuffed with fried chicken, bacon, eggs, and honey butterācarb heaven! Itās not mind-blowing, but itās a tasty local experienceļ½ Collins Quarter š½ Famous for brunch, but their dinner was fantastic too! The menu has hints of asian fusionālike soy-glazed chicken wings and coconut fried rice, which felt familiar and deliciousļ½ Cozy vibe, great for chattingļ½ The Coffee Fox āļø Highly recommend their Espresso Tonic! Itās like a lemon sparkling iced ācrisp, slightly tart, refreshing and energizingļ½ I had one every day I was in Savannah, totally addictive!
