Travel | Random Itinerary in Dallas

I didn’t have a very detailed plan of what to do. 1️⃣ First Stop: Yintang Hot Pot + Somi Taiyaki Ice Cream Right after landing, I headed straight to Yintang Hot Pot and Somi Taiyaki Ice Cream in Carollton, which is about a 15-minute drive from the airport. Yintang was incredibly delicious—I even planned to go back before leaving but didn’t make it. Somi is right next to Yintang, and it’s perfect to grab a dessert after your meal. 2️⃣ Random Visit to Fort Worth Stockyard I suggest dressing in a casual cowboy style. The town has many shops selling cowboy hats and boots—if you don’t mind the price, you can definitely buy some! Hahaha! As a fridge magnet enthusiast, I browsed several stores but couldn’t find any nice ones, so I ended up buying some at the airport. 3️⃣ Deciding Where to Eat at Mealtime This randomness was amazing🤯, and almost every place I went to was fantastic—no disappointments! For Korean food, I recommend Bukchangdong and BCD Tofu Soup. For breakfast, I had rice rolls at Da Xiang (the cold soy milk was amazing). 4️⃣ Tried the Famous Texas BBQ at Hutchins BBQ This one deserves a special mention because it’s super popular🔥. I highly recommend arriving a bit early at mealtime to avoid the long lines! While waiting, I even took some photos of the store, which has a very Texan vibe both inside and out. We ordered sausage, brisket, and beef ribs (the sausage was my No.1 choice, incredibly juicy and flavorful). For sides, we had cheese corn and potato salad. #StudyingInUSA #LifeInNorthAmerica #Dallas #Texas #DallasLife
