Travel | Spokane, Washington State 🏙️
We recently made a short visit to Spokane, the second-largest city in Washington State. We stayed at the Historic Davenport Hotel in the downtown area – a place full of old-money charm and elegance 💼✨. Our visit happened to fall during the Christmas season, and the grand Christmas tree set up in the lobby added so much festive spirit 🎄❤️. (A few of these photos are from online – it was quite crowded, so I couldn’t capture everything myself!) We also tried two standout local restaurants: 🚂 Frank’s Diner Housed inside a charming red railway car parked right alongside the tracks, this cozy and bright spot has been serving guests since 1906! We enjoyed a solid brunch here – a truly unique and down-to-earth dining experience. 🍳 House of Brunch Located in the heart of downtown, this modern café serves carefully prepared dishes with creative latte art and thoughtful presentation. A perfect spot for a fresh and flavorful meal! As the host city of the 1974 World’s Fair, Spokane’s downtown still showcases remnants of the expo grounds, surrounded by the stunning Spokane River Falls, city hall, shopping malls, hotels, and gardens 🌊🏛️. That said, as folks used to the Bay Area’s milder climate, we definitely felt the early winter chill ❄️🧣. Overall, Spokane felt more vibrant and interesting than I expected! We heard the local wineries are worth a visit too – maybe next time, when the summer sun brings the city to life 🌞⛱️. #Spokane #Washington #TravelUSA #HistoricHotels #FoodFinds
