Travel Diary | Berry Picking Adventure Near Boston! 🫐🌻
On the last day of the long weekend, we made a spontaneous decision and drove just 30 minutes south to Wards Berry Farm for some fruit-picking fun! The blueberries were perfectly in season—plump, juicy, and super sweet! Plus, we got to pick our own fresh flowers to take home—how dreamy is that? 💐✨ Pro Tip: Check the farm’s website before you go to see which areas are open that day. When we arrived at 2 PM, only the blueberries, currants, gooseberries, flowers, and sunflower fields were available. The mulberries and raspberries listed online were probably picked clean by the morning crowd—so early birds get the best berries! 🐦☀️ The farm’s homemade apple cider is absolutely delicious—don’t leave without trying it! 🍎🧃 There’s also a sandbox, trampoline, tractors, and adorable free-range chickens (so chubby and cute! 🐔), making it a great spot for kids. Just a heads-up—it gets HOT out there, so slather on that sunscreen and stay hydrated! ☀️🧴💦 #BostonLife #DayTripsFromBoston #BostonFarm #PickYourOwn #BlueberryPicking #SunflowerField #FamilyFun #SummerActivities #LocalFarms #FreshProduce
