Tromsø Winter Hike: Conquering Storsteinen! ⛰️❄️

🚶♂️ The Route 1️⃣ Start: Took the bus to the Arctic Cathedral, then followed Google Maps to Sherpatrappa trailhead. 2️⃣ The Climb: Chose the left fork (shorter but steeper!). Initially followed footprints, then only ski tracks remained. Soon, fresh snow buried all traces—we navigated purely by GPS! 3️⃣ Snow Depth: Waist-high in parts, with hidden tree wells and gaps. I carved the path, arms plunging into snow for balance. 4️⃣ The Final Push: Saw other hikers joining our trail—motivation unlocked! Reached the summit with pure grit (and frozen eyelashes 😅). ⚠️ Survival Tips ICE CRAMPS ARE A MUST! Rent them at Tromsø Outdoor if needed. Check weather—snowstorms can erase trails fast.
