Two Days in a Row at Tatte @Washington DC šŸ„šŸ’•

My East Coast trip has wrapped up—but I’m still dreaming of Tatte! 🄹 I missed it in Boston, but in D.C., it was just a 4-minute walk from my hotel, Arlo Washington DC. Of course, I had to go…and it was so good, I ended up eating there two days in a row! ā¤ļø On the first day, I ordered a Pistachio Latte, and the server accidentally spilled a little. I didn’t mind, but he surprised me with a fresh new cup—such a sweet gesture! ā˜•ļøāœØ Must-Try Items: • Lamb Meatball & Labneh Shakshuka: The combination of lamb meatballs and shakshuka is heavenly—tomato lovers will go crazy! šŸ…šŸ”„ • Almond Croissant: I heard the pistachio one was very sweet, so I went with almond instead. It’s filled with rich almond paste—so delicious! • Morning Bun: Basically a cinnamon roll, but with an extra crispy crust~ 🧁 • Pistachio Latte: Nutty, smooth, and highly recommended! šŸ’š • French Toast: Pretty for photos, but the goat cheese flavor was too strong for me—I passed it to my family after one bite. (Weekends only! I missed it the first day.) • Chicken Vegetable Soup: I had a cold, so I warmed up with this American-style chicken soup with celery and potatoes. Comfort in a bowl! 🄣 • Pistachio Cherry Tart: Wow—sweet! Even more pistachio-forward than the latte. Perfect for pistachio enthusiasts. • Multigrain Bread: My dad saw the big loaf in the display and insisted we try it. They sell the whole loaf for 7, but you can ask for it sliced and toasted. The server will ask if you want jam or butter—I went with butter. We got about 4 slices for just 1! Have you been to Tatte? What’s your favorite order?
