đUdo Island Has Jejuâs Most Beautiful SeaâNo Contest!
The first four photos are from Udo Islandâs White Sand Beachâno filters, no retouching, and itâs still stunning. This spot is totally worth the visit! The crowd isnât too big, and you can even see haenyeo (female divers) working in the sea. You could easily spend a whole day hereâunfortunately, I joined a tour, so we were pressed for time.âď¸ Tour pros: No need to worry about logisticsâeverything is arranged for you, and you skip the lines.âď¸ Our guide said Udo Island only has around 1,000 households, and the entire island has just 83 students. Even in elementary school, each student gets their own teacherâhow lucky is that! But Udoâs prices are higher than Jejuâs main island: a bowl of seafood noodles costs over 80 RMB, and a tiny peanut ice cream is about 30 . đ¤The speedboat is a must-do! Every penny is worth itâitâs so thrilling, I didnât want it to end. The sea is deep and a beautiful turquoise blue; you have to see it with your own eyes to truly appreciate it. Going into the sea caves felt a bit spooky, like there was âmystical fogâ lingeringâso cool! đď¸Other coastal spots, especially beaches, are way too crowded and not as clean. It might also be because the other areas I visited were on cloudy days, so the photos didnât turn out wellâbut the crowds were definitely a problem. I could barely take any pictures without people in the frame. đď¸Woljeongri is nice too, but itâs super crowded. Another thing: Jejuâs coastal attractions are much smaller and more compact than those in ChinaâHyeopjae Beach, for example, has such a small stretch of sea, but itâs packed with people, shoulder to shoulder.đ In short, Udo Island is a non-negotiable stopâitâs that good. All the other seas feel the same in comparison, with no real standout features. #UdoIsland #JejuIsland #TheSea #WoljeongriPhotography #GlassSea #JellySea
