The Horseshoe Stadium’s grand arch, Thompson Library, and Mirror Lake area feature red-brick buildings with lush greenery and water—perfect for photos on a nice day! 🍦 Late Morning | Local Vibes 📍 North Market 📍 Downtown Columbus North Market is a local favorite! Don’t miss Jeni’s Ice Cream 🍦 (the original location!) with unique flavors like Brambleberry Crisp 🍓 and Tropical Bloom 🍊. Pro tip: Try the blueberry lemon scone from the bakery—it’s surprisingly amazing! 😋 Then, drive through downtown to see the State Capitol, city sculptures, and historic architecture. 📸 ☕️ Afternoon | Artsy & Cozy 📍 German Village 📍 Franklin Park Conservatory & Botanical Gardens Head to German Village for lunch at Schmidt’s 🌭 (check my last post for a review!). Next, walk to The Book Loft, a massive maze-like indie bookstore with 32 rooms—it’s like a treasure hunt! 📚 Nearby, grab coffee at Pistacia Vera—their pistachio latte is the richest I’ve ever had! 🍵 Matcha is great too, plus they have macarons. 💁🏻♀️ Later, visit Franklin Park Conservatory, a stunning greenhouse + glass art garden.
