Vermont Special Ops Trip β Perfect Fall Foliage & Food Adventure! π
Taking advantage of NYU Sternβs fall break, my friends and I spontaneously embarked on a road trip to Vermont for epic leaf-peeping and delicious eats! πβ¨ π Hit the Road from Jersey City! Right after Friday noon class, we rented a car near campus (shoutout to Enterprise β super convenient! π) and headed straight to Vermont. The drive from Manhattan to Woodstock took about 4.5 hours β though we got a bit lost and added an extra 30 mins π . But with good music, great conversations, and non-stop laughter, the journey was just as fun as the destination! πΆπ¬ π Woodstock: A Peaceful Autumn Dream This town is like a painting πΌοΈ β quiet, cozy, and full of fall vibes. We visited the famous covered bridge (a must for photos! πΈ), strolled down the charming pedestrian streets, and soaked in the serene atmosphere. Perfect place to unwind! π π Stowe: Food Loverβs Paradise Next, we drove an hour north to Stowe β a heaven for foodies! Ben & Jerryβs Factory: Yes, the line was longβ¦ but the ice cream π¦ and photo ops were totally worth it! Cold Hollow Cider Mill: We tried freshly pressed apple cider π and apple wine β so refreshing! Their $1 cider donuts were simple but fun to try. π£οΈ VT-100 Highway: The Ultimate Foliage Drive From Killington to Stowe, we cruised along VT-100 β known as Vermontβs Scenic Byway π. Though the drive was slow, the views were absolutely stunning! Golden and crimson leaves everywhere, paired with our road trip playlist β pure magic! β¨ β A Small Regret, But Next Time! We missed the famous white church βͺ β it was under renovation π§. But that just gives us a reason to return! π More Adventures Await! Vermont was just the beginning! Weβre heading next to Boston, Rhode Island, and Portland, Maine β chasing more fall beauty and food! This short but sweet Vermont trip was packed with joy, good vibes, and unforgettable moments.
