Very Chill Brunch Spots in Boston

First Tier 🔸 Sonsie|Recommending it again. A must-visit brunch spot in summer. Cherishing the last of my blonde days—this photo was taken from outside the restaurant looking in, with the sunlight making everyone glow ✨ 🔸 Cafe Landwer|Really delicious! Unlike other overhyped recommendations, this place is genuinely about "good food" 🥘 🔸 Bar Vlaha|Tasty! I prefer this over Krasi. The dishes are distinctive, and I love trying something new every time I go—rarely disappointing 🍴 🔸 The Courtyard Tea Room|Located inside the Boston Public Library, with a unique and elegant ambiance. The menu is designed like a book. Perfect for a stroll through the library after eating, though reservations are hard to secure 📚 Second Tier 🔸 Bistro Du Midi|Love the location—close to Chinatown and Newbury but still peaceful. The cozy French vibe is perfect for sitting outdoors in summer 🌿 🔸 Cafe Sauvage|A long-standing spot—decent but not outstanding. Ideal for sitting outside in summer. A lovely walk around Cambridge afterward 🚶‍♀️ 🔸 Toro|Pretty good! Located in the South End, the area is quieter, making it great for a focused meal 🍽️ 🔸 Faccia Faccia|More suited for dinner as a French restaurant, but brunch outdoors in summer is also pleasant (I personally enjoy the open-air setting with sunlight and lively street vibes; if that’s not your style, try dinner instead) ☀️ 🔸 Beacon Hill Books & Bar|A highly recommended British-style afternoon tea with servers sporting British accents. The food is average, but the highlight is browsing the bookstore and Beacon Hill Street afterward 📖 Third Tier 🔸 Saltie Girl|Fresh macaron-like color scheme with a great vibe on Newbury Street. Perfect for soaking up summer energy, though the food is just okay 🍧 🔸 Krasi|Overhyped, left little impression. Seats are cramped—good for a lively atmosphere but not much else 🍻 🔸 Grana|Located in the Langham Hotel, it gained popularity after Ouyang Nana’s visit. The decor is stylish, but ingredients aren’t very fresh, and the sandwiches are dry 🥪 🔸 Tora|A small spot in Chinatown—their donburi is good, and the seafood is fresh 🍣 🔸 Cafe Luna|Another long-standing spot—been many times, but no dish stands out. Mostly known for being crowded and hard to get into ⏳ 🔸 Silver Dove Afternoon Tea|A lesser-known British-style afternoon tea. The highlight is that all the tea is from China (oolong, tieguanyin, etc.) 🍵 🔸 Tatte|A Boston staple—saved for last because it’s my "Boston Starbucks." Whether I’m having brunch alone, catching up over coffee, filling time before dinner, or working, I always head here without hesitation. Their yogurt bowls, salads, and fresh berries are delicious and have accompanied me through many solo moments 🫐 #Boston #LifeAbroad #DailyBlogger #BrunchRecommendations
