🎇🎇Decided to Visit New Orleans for a Few Days on a Whim – Wandering Around and Eating to My Heart’s Content Is Pure Happiness 😭 It’s really perfect for a few unplanned days here～ Boil Seafood House Does anyone else love hand-held boiled seafood as much as I do? I recommend the Boil House flavor – it’s a mix of Caribbean, Cajun, and Garlic Butter, and it’s incredibly flavorful! Next time, I want to try Big Ez Seafood.🦐 The Pelican Club 🦐🦐A beautiful and delicious French restaurant in the heart of the French Quarter. The grilled oysters are rich with buttery garlic, and the lamb chops are super tender. The portions are amazing – what they serve as one portion here could easily be sold as two separate portions in New York… Peche Seafood Grill A seafood restaurant where the main course drum fish is a must-try 👍. Dip the toasted bread in the sauce – it just makes you want to keep eating. The steak tartare has a fresh, crisp texture. Cafe Beignet & Cafe Du Monde💕 😍😍Beignets are a New Orleans specialty – my friend calls them “big fried dough sticks,” but they’re actually French-style donuts. Both are popular spots, but I personally prefer Cafe Beignet (the Bourbon Street location). They have jazz performances there, so the vibe is amazing! Their lobster risotto and omelette are also good. Note: Cafe Du Monde is cash-only. Acme Oyster House🌈 🥩A restaurant with over 10,000 ratings on maps – and it lives up to the hype! Both raw and grilled oysters are fantastic. I also tried New Orleans’ iconic Po-Boys sandwich (stuffed with fried oysters and shrimp) – it was so satisfying. Pluck Wine Bar & Restaurant👣 🌙🌙A wine bar with a very intimate atmosphere! We ordered a white wine with cream cheese notes – it was so good, my friend wanted to take the bottle home with her 😝. The Carousel Bar & Lounge💓 😊The entire bar spins like a carousel – it’s worth a visit just for that. The Pimm’s Cup is tasty; it tastes sweet and light at first, but it packs a strong punch later 😅. 🎵 If You Love Jazz, Don’t Miss a Show at Preservation Hall In the off-season, you can buy tickets the same day. In summer, they perform at a new venue that’s quite upscale – it’s totally different from the jazz you hear on the streets or in bars. It was absolutely stunning!🍐🎼 🏨 Hotel Recommendation: The Ritz-Carlton It’s a 5-minute walk from the French Quarter.
