Westin Atlanta: A $260 Disappointment đ¤
Booked a stay at the Westin Peachtree Plaza Atlantaâa supposed 4-star hotel. My room was on the 54th floor, costing around $200 per night, plus an extra $60 for valet or $40 for self-parking. All in, thatâs about $260â270 per night. Sounds luxurious, right? Well⌠my experience was anything but. đ¸ First off, the room was surprisingly small, and the decor and facilities felt seriously outdated. Peeling chairs, cracked window frames, a closet door that wouldnât openâyou name it. The lighting was dim, and electrical outlets were way too scarce. I felt like I was on a treasure hunt just to charge my devices đŚ. The whole vibe wasnât âclassic charmâ but more like âthis place needs a renovation, ASAP.â The only plus? The mattress was decentâfirm but comfortable đď¸â . But that was pretty much it. As for the view from the 54th floor? Iâd expected something breathtaking, but the windows were small, dirty, and covered in reflections. The Atlanta skyline looked more like a blurry postcard from the â90s. All in all, I couldnât help but feel a little ripped off. The idea of a "star-rated hotel" felt like a relic of the past. These days, what truly matters is thoughtful design, modern comfort, and attention to detailâthings many newer boutique hotels and even some high-end hostels are doing way better. This stay taught me a clear lesson: đđđđ "Stars donât always mean quality, and a high price doesnât guarantee a premium experience." #WestinAtlanta #HotelReview #AtlantaTravel #DisappointingStay #TravelTruth #LuxuryFail #BusinessTrip #HotelProblems #HonestReview #TravelTips
