Matcha with pistachio foam is also great. 🍵 DAMO Called "LA’s best matcha" online — I agree! Authentic, bitter, aromatic. (Their dagwa dessert box is way too sweet though.) 🔥 SUN NONG DAN A classic — still love it every time. Bring anyone, they’ll be impressed. Even Li Dan or Wu Yanzu would eat here 😂 Cheese rib & rice cakes = unbeatable. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly Recommend 🥪 Langer’s Delicatessen 小红书 comment section recommendation — spot on! Tried the #44 this time (usually get #19). Pastrami is fatty & delicious, bread is buttery, sauerkraut is addictive. Spicy mustard is the soul! Good brunch, but not mind-blowing. Chia seed pudding is simple but reliable — fruits are fresh and sweet. Mediterranean eggs were nicely spiced and light. Strawberry tart was fine — passionfruit tart was more interesting. 🍝 Cento Pasta Bar Solid but not legendary. Steak tartare was flavorful. Gem Caesar salad had generous parmesan. Spicy Pomodoro (most popular) — handmade pasta had great chew. Bolognese with gnocchi felt like lasagna meets Chinese dough balls. Squid ink mafaldine tasted like Sichuan stir-fry — no seafood flavor. Sweet corn agnolotti was tasty but very sweet. Banana pudding tiramisu was too sweet for me. 🦐 Fritto Misto Garlic shrimp (signature) was just okay, overpriced.
