What to Eat Today | DC's Kingbird 🍽️
Just got back from DC and have been sick, but I'm finally better and ready to update! Starting with the meals I had in DC—overall, the restaurants there are beautifully decorated, the service is better than in Boston, the prices are similar, and the flavors... well, we mostly tried new cuisines, so everything felt pretty decent! 😊 This meal was at Kingbird, a restaurant that’s pretty popular on TripAdvisor. It seems like most people go for brunch, but we went for dinner. Overall, it didn’t feel particularly outstanding—maybe because we’ve tried so many similar places that it didn’t stand out. 🍷 🌕 Bone Marrow Can anyone tell me where in Boston (besides Toro) I can find bone marrow? So many DC restaurants have it, and I’m absolutely obsessed! 😍 🌗 Squid Ink Pasta It was okay, but not as good as what you’d find at many Italian restaurants. 🍝 🌗 Filet Mignon with Foie Gras Pretty average—nothing too impressive. Adding foie gras actually made it a bit too rich. Their sauces are ordered separately, and we tried the House Special... which was absolutely terrible! A total disaster. 🙈 Have you been to Kingbird?
