When Will UW's Jie Bakery Open on the Eastside? 😭

Craving Jie Bakery again! 🙈 Asked a friend to grab some goodies from the UW location, but we went in the afternoon and missed out on the famous Earl Grey Milk Bread toast that everyone’s raving about. So sad! 🍞 Red Bean & Pork Floss Milk Bread 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The bread is as soft and fluffy as ever! Red beans are naturally sweet—no extra sugar—and so fragrant. Loaded with pork floss, and the filling is spread throughout, not just on top. Finished the whole bag in one sitting—no regrets! 🥹 🥖 Pork Floss Mini Cake 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Got these last time too, and brought some back for my roommate. Their first reaction: “Where is this from?!” 😂 Every piece is generous and packed with flavor. A must-buy! 🍵 Pistachio Basque Cheesecake 🌟🌟🌟🌗 Pistachio flavor comes through nicely, and the texture is smooth. But I wish it was a bit richer and denser—classic Basque style, you know? 🍫 Black Forest Cake 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Tastes better chilled! I had it after it sat out for a while, so it wasn’t as cool as ideal. Not too sweet though! Personally, I prefer their Dream Mountain Roll (). 🍇 Grape Green Tea (Duo Rou Pu Tao) 🌟🌟🌟🌗 Big plus: real grape chunks! Grape flavor is strong, but it leans sweet. Maybe ask for less sugar next time.
