Where to Stay & Eat in Aspen? π¨π½οΈ
I spent 7 days in Aspen β skied for 5, ate for 5 π, and tried 4 restaurants. (Also enjoyed daily breakfast and evening desserts with drinks at the hotel β pure bliss! π·π°) π¨ Accommodation: The Hoffmann Hotel Basalt Aspen, Tapestry Collection by Hilton ββββ We stayed in Basalt, about 25 minutes from Aspen. The hotel is new/renovated and offers a $20 breakfast credit per person per day. Breakfast was consistently good β highly recommend! π΄ Restaurant Reviews: Little Ollie's Aspen βββββ This place is a MUST! Ate here two days in a row β super Sichuan-style flavors. Ordered: Beef in Chili Oil, Dry-Fried Green Beans, Shumai. The beef was incredibly tender and flavorful! π Only downsides: Wontons were a bit sweet, and a 20% tip is automatically added. πΈ Still loved it! Sam's βββ A unique fine-dining experience on the mountain β skiers only! β·οΈ Better to reserve early or arrive right at opening. Food was pretty but disappointing β several dishes missed the mark. Cool perks: They provide slippers and a changing room so you can relax in comfort. A fun experience, but not for the food. Bear Den Aspen β Traditional French bistro β many on Xiaohongshu recommended it, so we booked far in advance. Cozy and cute, but very small. Tried fondue, escargot π, and onion soup β everything was overly cheesy and underwhelming. Not worth the hype! The Hoffmann House βββ Located on the first floor of our hotel. Tried their half roast chicken, desserts, and breakfast β all decent. A safe, convenient, no-surprise option. Have you been to Aspen?
