Who can resist a bite of sea urchin?! 🦑

I’ve discovered another amazing Japanese restaurant in the Bay Area! For under $50 per person, it’s truly a steal! Located on the main street of downtown Mountain View, the shop is quite unassuming, which means it’s not crowded and you can walk in without waiting in line! 🚶‍♂️ The restaurant has a chalkboard listing daily specials. We ordered an omakase box, some special smoked sushi, and udon noodles. The omakase box is a must-see (and taste)! It’s both beautiful and delicious. The fish and sea urchin are incredibly fresh, and each bite is super satisfying! If you have a big appetite, one box per person is enough. We also ordered other main dishes and shared one box. 🍣 The smoked sushi is something I’ve never tried before—I was just curious. It looks and tastes quite fusion-style. I’m not sure if it has jalapeño, but it’s surprisingly spicy. I personally love this blend of flavors.
