😤 Who says Athens is not delicious? 😡 I totally disagree!
After 3 trips to Greece, these restaurants never disappoint—blindly order without fear! ⚠️ Personal note: Greek food tends to be very salty—be prepared! 🌟 Barbounaki (chain store, I went to one outside downtown Athens) Our first meal after arriving in Glyfada—we ordered 5 dishes for two people! Extremely fresh ingredients, every bite was explosively delicious 😋 Still makes me emotional looking back lol. Highly recommend! 🌟 O Mpakalis Their shrimp pasta was so good I started complimenting the chef on the spot 🍤👨🍳 Highly-rated on Google too! ⚠️ But the grilled meat and risotto were way too salty… like most meals in Athens 😅 🌟 LIONDI Traditional Greek Restaurant A popular spot right in front of the Acropolis Museum 🏛️ The staff know a little Chinese—lots of Chinese tourists eat here. The shrimp pasta was amazing again! We weren’t too hungry so we only ordered two dishes + dessert. 🚫 Their recommended dessert was way too sweet—not my thing. 🌟 Avli My FAVORITE RISOTTO EVER!! 🥘 Super salty… but also incredibly flavorful and fresh. We walked here after shooting at a scenic spot nearby. The area is lively at night with lots of bars and bistros—very chic, but stay alert. We even saw riot police around when leaving. 🌟 Regal Restaurant After too much Greek food, we tried this fusion spot—dishes from all over the world! Missing Germany, we ordered a sausage platter 🌭—huge portion, enough for two with leftovers. Their fresh veggie/fruit juice is a MUST-TRY! Perfect for digestion issues 😉 Way more refreshing than bubble tea in the Greek heat 🥤 🌟 Also devoured tons of street food—fried seafood, baby squid… so good! And spending €5 to chill by the beach every day? Pure bliss 🏖️💙 #Athens #Greece #GreekTravel #GreekFood #HiddenGems #FoodGuide #MustEatAthens
