XiBei Youmian Village Now in LA! š„ New Arcadia Location!
We visited the newly opened XiBei Youmian Village in Arcadia this weekend! The restaurant feels spacious and comfortableāseats are well-spaced, and they have lots of private rooms, making it perfect for company events, family gatherings, or small parties. The largest private room can seat around 30 people, with many smaller ones for 10ā20 guests, ideal for hosting celebrations š There were three of us (2 adults + 1 child), so we ordered the $68 set menu, which included half a Peking duck. The staff reminded us that the duck takes time to prepare since it's roasted freshāworth the wait since my kid loves it!šš We also ordered extra dishes like squirrel fish and a kids' meal. ⢠Grilled Pepper Avocado ā Fresh, creamy, with a hint of smokiness. Light and appetizing. ⢠Dry-Fried String Beans ā Crispy outside, tender inside, super aromatic and perfect with rice.šš ⢠Peking Duck (Half) ā Crispy skin, tender meat, rich aromaāso satisfying wrapped in pancakes! Note: Each duck is roasted fresh, so patience is needed. ⢠Hand-Torn Lamb in Original Broth ā Tender, not gamey, with a comforting warm broth. ⢠Squirrel Fish ā Crispy outside, soft inside, sweet and sour sauce on pointāhard to stop eating!šš ⢠Steamed Oat Noodle "Nests" ā Chewy, cute shape, holds sauce well, fragrant the more you chew. ⢠Kids Meal (I'm Not Hungry Combo) ā Mild flavors perfect for kids, and even adults can sneak a bite. ⢠XiBei Big Salad ā Crisp and refreshing, great balance for richer dishes. ⢠Sweet & Sour Pork Ribs ā Perfectly balanced sweet and tangy, tender and flavorfulāa crowd favorite! They were out of rice cake today, but the staff sincerely offered a voucher for next timeāa really nice touch š„¹ This restaurant truly brought me back to flavors from back home. Iāll definitely be returning! #XiBeiYoumianVillage #XiBeiArcadia #ArcadiaEats #LAFoodie #LAChineseFood
