Yaroslavl Two-Day One-Night Travel Guide 🏰❄️
Luggage: For two days, we only carried a small backpack each. Essentials: Snow boots (though it’s not too cold—temperatures are similar to Moscow), hats, clothes, and bed linens. Train Tickets: Departure from Moscow: Seated ticket (3.5 hours, 1,088 RUB 💰). Return: Seated tickets were sold out (book early!), so we took a sleeper ticket (1,303 RUB). Comfortable and similar to trains in China, but the internet connection is very poor. Bring a deck of cards to play with friends—we passed the time snacking and chatting! Accommodation:No need to worry about (registration), which saved a lot of hassle. Day 1 (Arrived at Yaroslavl at 11:00 AM): Withdrew cash at a T-Bank ATM 🏧 Visited the Church of St. John the Baptist & Bell Tower (featured on the 1,000 RUB note) Saw the Yaroslavl Monument (can only view from across the street for photos) Ate at a (viral burger joint)—highly recommended! 🍔🌟 Their burgers and juices were delicious. Explored the museum (multiple small exhibitions, takes about 3 hours). You can buy individual tickets or a (combo ticket). Student discounts available! The war museum sells affordable souvenirs—a 50 RUB fridge magnet (cheap!) 🧲 Day 2 (Returned to Moscow by 4:00 PM train): Photo op at the city sign 📸 Visited the Kazan Chapel (featured on the front of the 1,000 RUB note) Explored the Yaroslavl Museum Complex Saw the UNESCO World Heritage Site Walked along the Volga River and October Bridge 🌉 Passed by the Music & Time Museum (didn’t enter—tickets were pricey) Ate at Pipyao Korean Restaurant—affordable and tasty! 🍚 Dessert at Sobranie Ice Cream Shop—120 RUB per scoop. Recommended flavors: Голубое небо (tastes like banana) Чизкейк черника (blueberry cheesecake) Strawberry 🍓 #GoldenRingTown #Yaroslavl 🏛️✨
