It is the best place in the world to watch the aurora, only 200 kilometers away from the Arctic Circle. 🌞 🌩️With its unique natural landscapes, a visit there will leave you with memories that last a lifetime👉👈 🌈First of all, the best season to watch the aurora is from August to February, with August and September being the peak season when there is a 95% chance of seeing it! 🐟 🦢You can also check the Auroral forecast on Google, which clearly predicts the intensity of the aurora – the higher the K-index, the greater the chance.🏔️ 🏝️When it comes to watching the aurora, you can choose between independent travel and joining a tour group. 🏡👣 ⛩️For tour groups, you can consult travel agencies within Canada. I prefer independent travel, as I enjoy the feeling of exploring and chasing the aurora on my own. 🌎 🌈If departing from China, you can fly to Calgary first and then take a direct flight✈️ to Yellowknife. It's even more convenient if you're flying within Canada. 🇨🇦 🐻However, be sure to buy your plane tickets in advance – the earlier you book📖, the cheaper they are. 🐤After landing, you can take a taxi directly to your accommodation (a hotel costs over 200 CAD, or a homestay over 100 CAD). ☁️ ☺️Then rent a car and first go to the supermarket to stock up on some convenient snacks🍡🍢🍣 and drinks 🥛🍷– I usually prepare two bottles of beer. 🌳Next comes the key part: drive the rented car to find a lake without light pollution, a high vantage point, or any place you find beautiful.🥬 🐵Explore on your own, and I'm sure you won't be disappointed. 🍁 🦀🦀Once you've chosen a spot, you can eat, drink beer (having one bottle doesn't count as drunk driving), chat about life, and wait for the aurora!🕊️ 🍐🎼Other recommended activities include experiencing Indigenous culture and ice fishing. You can also visit various attractions in the town. 🍉🍉 🐾And Chinese tourists won't want to miss Weaver & Devore to buy Canada Goose down jackets – after discounts, each one is about a hundred dollars💵 cheaper. As a dog lover, I don't recommend everyone to try dog🐶 sledding. But if you have extra time, you can arrange a snow🌨️ hike, which is also a great experience. 🌴Finally, Yellowknife is one of my favorite travel destinations. 🌹 There, I've seen tourists from all over the world with the brightest smiles,😁 poor traveling couples making lifelong promises, and been amazed by the wonderful nature... ⛲I hope the wildfires are put out soon, and that more people can travel there once things return to normal. 🥝 Well, we love nature.🕊️ #YellowknifeTravel #Aurora #Canada #LoveAndPeace
