Yokohama Japanese Restaurant

✨For New Year's Day dinner, we decided to have Japanese food. The name "Yokohama" made us expect authentic Japanese cuisine, but to our surprise, we discovered it's actually a Korean-run restaurant serving a fusion of Korean dishes and sushi. 🩷The food was decent - we particularly enjoyed the fresh sashimi platter and the kimchi pancake. The bulgogi bibimbap in a stone pot was perfectly crispy at the bottom, just the way we like it. However, we definitely ordered too much and ended up overly full. ✨The restaurant had a modern, cozy atmosphere with both traditional floor seating and regular tables. The service was prompt though not particularly attentive. ✔️The bill came to 260 - not exactly cheap, but reasonable given the quality and quantity of food. While it wasn't the authentic Japanese experience we initially expected, the Korean-Japanese fusion made for an interesting culinary adventure worth trying. If you're in the mood for both Korean and Japanese flavors, this place offers a convenient solution. Just be sure to check the menu carefully to avoid ordering more than you can handle! #Alabama#Montgomery#travelguide#Montgomeryfood#Restaurant
