Yours Truly – A South American-Inspired Holiday Stay 🌵🎶

Stopped by Washington DC recently and stayed a night at Yours Truly—the only Vignette Collection property by IHG in North America! Located downtown near Georgetown, the location is pretty good—but the rest was just okay. 🏙️ The overall vibe is super casual and laid-back—a unique look for DC. They didn’t use the first floor for a grand lobby—instead, it’s all restaurant, bar, and café space. That’s also all the F&B they offer: a South American dinner spot and a bagel shop. 🥯🍻 Since we’d already eaten, we just grabbed a snack with a beer—the grilled skewers were tasty (but the chili sauce was spicy! 🌶️). At check-in, I mentioned I’d like a larger room—and they really gave me a spacious accessible room! The design continues the industrial feel from the lobby, but facility-wise, it felt pretty much like a standard Holiday Inn. 🛏️ About the Vignette Collection brand: It seems positioned like Marriott’s Luxury Collection, but based on this DC spot—which leans into South American style and vinyl music—it feels more like a Design Hotel, relying heavily on the owner’s taste and standards. 🎨📀 Have you stayed at Yours Truly or another Vignette Collection hotel?
