We arrived at 10am for breakfast and the floor area was very dirty in the whole section. It took us 30 mins to be served and another lengthy wait for our order to arrive. My food was cold as it had been left on the pass for so long, and had something in it. I found the server and made her aware that there was a blue piece of stiff ‘fibre’ part in my pancake and part showing. She acknowledged it and took the food away & sent the manager over. I felt the manager did not believe me as he said they used nothing blue in the kitchen (even though they have blue hairnets!) and he said he did not see my pancakes to confirm it, but then said he’d ‘torn them apart’ (his words) looking for it. He put the dirty floors down to the fact the cleaners hadn’t shown up that morning! The serving staff were overwhelmed as there weren’t enough on. As a result the unlimited coffee was just 1 cup as it was impossible to order another. We will not be returning needless to say.

Update. Visited again today for breakfast. Arrived at 9.50am, 17 other people in the restaurant including the ones who came in after us. Waited 55mins for food after asking how much longer it would be at 10.50, the waitress told us there was only 1 chef in the kitchen. Had we been told it would be over an hour wait on arrival we would of gone somewhere else. Food came out at 11.05am, burnt to a crisp. Rock solid muffins & hasbrown. Burnt burger. Baby's pancakes RAW. Showed a waitress who said it would be another 20mins for fresh as the grill had now broke. Asked for a manager, who agreed he would not eat the food on our plates & would speak to the kitchen team. I mentioned the fact there's only 1 chef he said no there's a whole team in there & has no idea why it took over an hour to come out to begin with. Needless to say we left without eating. Final straw for this restaurant, will not be coming back.

Took the grandchildren (kids eat for £1)..showed the voucher.. Was told one Main meal 2 kids eat for a £1..service was friendly..Kids were looked after with crayons etc.. Food was nice.. My chicken was a bit on the small side 🤔.. When I paid only one kids meal was deducted.. I complained and was told only one kids meal per main.. I replied that I was told different by another staff member... She went and spoke to her manager and after a while returned with the other kids meal removed saying that they have removed it this time as we were given the wrong info, but in future it's only one kids meal free per main.

The food was really nice we waited for 1 hour for it and it was cooked perfectly just the let down it was one of our group members had Allergies to Selfish she order beef Steak with Pepper corn source they said we could not have it as they don't know what's in pepper corn source what the the chefs doing? If they don't know what's in the pepper corn source she got the food and the rest had to wait about 5 minutes before we got our food out could be better the service everything was cooked perfectly just a let down and we had to wait for over 15 minutes for a manger to give us the refund as well

Will not be returning in a rush, chicken breast was pink and salad options were limited. Had to ask to be served and finished salad before drink glasses arrived. - waitress at the time was overworked but very friendly and approachable and sorted out our issues almost immediately. Three stars is generous, but deserved as chicken main and deserts on the house redeemed themselves. Overall, The best bit was my garden peas and green beans side and the lovely waitress, Beth. Will not be first choice to return in the future x
