My partner picked up a KFC 8 piece bucket from Pontypool's KFC yesterday evening. When he got home and I looked inside the bag it looked like a very sad meal indeed. Most of the chicken pieces were bony, lacked any meat and looked as though they had been left on the side for a very long time and the chips looked as though they had been warmed up in a microwave. We were fuming as my partner had just completed a long shift at work! Anyway we drove back down, he went inside and spoke quietly to the female manager who said that he could have a refund or that he could have "fresh" food. We decided on the latter as we were starving. We got home with the supposedly fresh food and tbh it didn't look much better than our first batch. I'm sure that the 4 pieces of chicken, our chips and rice were warmed up in the microwave and that the kitchen staff only gave us 4 fresh pieces of chicken. We were starving at this point and it was late so we ate it. I gave my partner the 3 good pieces of chicken and I had 1 with the 3 that were definitely not replaced. They were only made edible due to the fiery mayo sauces we bought to dip them in. After we finished the meal I started to have stomach cramps and didn't feel great. I've woken up this morning with a very bad stomach and diarrhea as a result after eating this poor meal. Read moreI am shocked at how bad this branch has got. I used to use this all the time and never had a problem, but it has gone down hill fast with my latest visit. as you walk in the place is a mess, I meant you would think they fired the cleaner. Ordered my food by the most unhappy member of staff I have ever seen, inmates on death row are happier to be there than this guy was to be in work. If you don't like it there don't work there is my advise to him, my friend had to ask for a smile and that took everything he had to make it happen. got the good and forgot the beans, well this was expected from Mr Happy we will call him. to then be told we have no beans fine we will have a gravy instead happy days. then my friend had a BBQ Wrap and asked for no lettuce. well as you can expect they didn't not want to do that waste the lettuce. I think if you so no something they take it as add more please. so we get a new one with no lettuce happy days. finished our food that lets face it at this point disappointment had set in. but ladies and gentlemen light at the end of the tunnel. It is a great big green sign with a man running out of the door as fast as his little legs will take him. Read moreEverytime I've used this KFC the order has been wrong. This time my side salad came back as a coleslaw, one of my two meals had about ten chips in the box, the extra piece of chicken I asked for and paid for wasn't in the box and when asking for a bbq dip for my meal I was handed sachets of HP sause. The chicken piece I was eventually given was tiny and my zinger burger had two shreds of lettuce, literally not even exaggerating. It was late when I was served and so by the time I got home and opened the meals up the store had closed. Truly disappointed with what is such a basic meal. It's beyond me how it can be messed up. It's just chicken and sauces with a handful of lettuce in a bun. I won't bother again and will be calling for a refund first thing in the morning.

I waited in the drive through at KFC for a Krishem as Mcdonalds was closed. Took ten minutes to get to the intercom where I was asked to wait as they served the ONE customer in front. Fifteen minutes later they returned, asked me what I wanted and then replied "we don't have any krushems, we've already turned the machine off". I gave them a few choice words and drove off fuming! How can such a well known company settle for three stars on Google? Surely they'd want to fix it? Or apparently not...
