Blue eye — Restaurant in Bashkia Finiq

One star is still too much. It was an awful experience. The service was slow and when the waitress finally arrived, we ordered a beef steak with fries. What came was clearly a pork steak, as you can see on the picture. When we complained politely, that this is not what we ordered, the waitress yelled at us, we could go in the kitchen and check with the chef ourself. The discussion heated, we pointed out several times, that there is no need for the Chef, as this is obviously not red meat and tasted like pork. In the end we followed her harshly repeated order and went to the kitchen, only to be shown two frozen steaks, to spot the difference between pork and beef, that looked exactly the same. We recognize a pork steak , when we see and eat one.

Not speaking of the fries, which were basically raw. The only positive thing is the nice view on the river, but please, don’t stop there for lunch. Unfriendly, and not good food. We left with an untouched plate...

Low season (Feb2025), maybe 10 park visitors (they're setup for 1000s per hour, shuttles, remote parking, small train), so it's very quiet, calm, almost serene. local dogs follow you around (or nap). coffee 250ALL, decent price, nice quality, calm fellow, nobody bugging you. Water rushing by eerily. A great place. Drive is slow, narrow, windy, but safe, guardrails and smooth all the way from the city. Well done.

The place is amazing, worth the 200ALL pp admit (inc parking: off season, definitely drive all the way up to the reservoir, do NOT bother parking down the hill).

~1500m walk, smooth, paved, to the source, the water gushing out of some hole underground, massive air bubbles, a tremendous volume of water. High speed river but not much erosion, lots of plant and trees holding the ground together. Some paths around the site but none marked, most...

Worst experience ever. Don't go here. Servers are extremly rude and arrogant. Never experienced such low interllect and zero cultural understanding (at a tourist attraction). We wanted to order fries and burek. The waiter told us they didn't have it and that they currently only served meat dishes. I then turned to my wife and said to her "lad os bare få en cola", which means let us just get a cola in danish. The waiter immediately starts getting angry and tells us to leave and that we were denied service, bacause she thought I said "fen coulo" (or however you say it?). She is yelling halfway across the restaurant at which point I tell her to get her manager, so I can explain the situation. When the manager comes he is already fuming and not listening to a single word that I am saying. Save yourself from this...
