Laurel Restaurant — Restaurant in Alger-Centre

I went to this place twice. The first time, we ordered something sweet, and we sat outside. The wait was ENDLESS ! we waited over 30 minutes for just two simple desserts. However, the food was good. But sitting outside, a lot of kids constantly came up asking for money (sadaqa), and the servers took their time getting them to leave. So, if you plan to sit down, it's better to sit inside.

The second time, we sat indoors, so we weren’t disturbed by the kids. We arrived around 11:30 AM, and it wasn’t too crowded. We ordered pizzas, which were pretty good, but again, the wait was again unbearable : over an hour for just two pizzas. We were about to leave because we had classes in the afternoon, so we couldn’t fully enjoy our meal and had to rush through it to avoid being late for class.

In short, if you have time to kill, go ahead, but I’d recommend sitting inside rather than outside.

P.S.: Nearly half of the dishes on the menu they give you aren’t actually...

Aesthetically beautiful place, it looks great inside and out. Total photo-op vibes.

The service was super welcoming ♡ everyone was friendly and genuinely helpful, always smiling.

Prices are, not gonna lie, a bit exaggerated… But let's be honest, you're mostly paying for the view and the vibe, not just what's on your plate.

As for the food, we only had a pepperoni pizza. Personally thought it was delicious ! Especially the mozzarella cheese that was of a good quality (you can see that in the photo), but I wasn’t a fan of the pepperoni's flavor. On the other side of the table, my partner didn’t enjoy it at all 😅

Overall, it was a nice experience. I’d be down to go back and try something different, there’s still potential for...

I went with my friend and we ordered an iced coffee chocolate, and a Frappuccinno Caramel. I was surprised that they give me a macchiato Caramel instead of Frappuccinno. i told the server that he may confused the order but he told me that it's the right order, and i told him if there Frappuccinno is served hot because he gave me a hot drink a'd Frappuccinno should be a cold drink. anyway he take the drink and put inside some ice cube and returned it back to me. i was surprised and i can't give any comments, i will leave the picture so you can judge...
