total lack of professionalism, i emailed the hotel a week ago, and still no answer
ENG/FRA Good stay overall, but the front desk experience was unacceptable – I do not recommend this hotel
Breakfast was tasty, although the selection was limited and the same every day. The restaurant staff were polite and the housekeeping team was very kind and helpful. The location is also convenient.
However, the front desk ruined our experience: – At check-out, the receptionist Siahi Sophia demanded a tourist tax of 500 DZD per person per day, while all major booking sites (Expedia, Hotels.com, Booking, etc.) clearly state 200 DZD. – When I showed her the proof, she shouted at me, cut me off repeatedly, spoke to me with open contempt, and even almost refused to give me her name so I could file a complaint. – She provided no written evidence of the higher rate and did not even offer a simple “have a nice day.” – I had to threaten to call the police before she finally applied the correct 200 DZD rate—while making it sound as if she were granting me an “exception.”
Additional issues: – At check-in, another receptionist first claimed we had booked 2 single beds when in fact our confirmed reservation was for a premium room with a view. – The hotel advertises a rooftop bar with music and a gym, but both were under construction and unavailable.
This scene, marked by aggression and complete lack of professionalism, completely spoiled the end of our stay. I will never return to this hotel and cannot recommend it to anyone while such behavior is tolerated.

Read moreOur experience with Ralph Hotel was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Initially, we were welcomed warmly, and the staff assured us that they would send the partnership contract via email. However, despite following up multiple times, we never received anything. Each time we called, we were given vague promises that the contract would be sent soon, but it never was.||||Frustrated by the lack of response, we decided to visit the hotel in person again. Shockingly, the lady who had initially received us refused to meet with us and sent someone else instead. We were then told that the hotel does not sign contracts with travel agencies — a completely different story from what we were led to believe. This kind of behavior is not only misleading but also highly unprofessional for a hotel that claims to uphold a high standard of service.||||Such dishonesty and lack of transparency are unacceptable. I would strongly advise against partnering with or staying at...
