Le Mikawsen Restaurant & Café — Restaurant in El Biar

I had to share this review because something different was up.

As a researcher; I don't usually share my opinion on the net, but here I am:

Unlike any other restaurants in El-Biar, Mikawsen was a respectful place.. people were not arrogant at all..

The food was cheap compared to the other places in the area, as much as I experienced at least.. . It was averagely good; nothing crazy, but surprisingly close to home.. the taste didn't feel strange at all. It felt like the sense of the flavours was close to heart and childhood.

The staff were nice, really nice indeed. There was no hint of racism, sexism, or any other sociological substitution.

Thank you, Ms Habiba, for making it feel like home, that's really rare to be found these days. Thank you, Ryan, for being direct and straight to the point.

Now, let me just be clear about why I shared this. The reason is not to attract any clients to this place or any other instant. After all, I will not have any benefits from it. As a hidjabi woman in the capital of Algiers; I experienced a lot of weird treatments and also sort of "special" treatments from services, especially in this area. So all my thanks for this place for having human decency.

I hope they stay at the same rate because businesses change from a time to...

Honestly it was amazing, the decoration is so cosy and lovely they have tables down and up too, the food was really good, the services was lovely honestly, the one working there are really nice and sweet, they keep asking you if you need any help or you missing something,...

J'aime beaucoup la diversité de la cuisine, entre moderne et traditionnelle. C'est comme dans un self service.

L'avantage, c'est que c'est tout juste salé, on y ajoute à notre convenance.

Il y a la disponibilité du menu la veille sur Instagram.

Surtout, pour la disponibilité des plats ou des restes à emporter. Ils ont un service de livraison rapide, c'est magnifique.

Petit déjeuner et café de l'après-midi sont disponibles avec diverses viennoiseries et gâteaux, j'ai eu l'occasion de partager ça en famille, entre amis et même avec des étrangers, franchement agréablement surpris, et très satisfait. Surtout que le rapport qualité prix est...
