Anna Punjabi Dhaba is a spot that serves up a unique twist on a classic dish, and my recent order of their Chicken Tikka Biryani was a testament to that. Priced at a reasonable ₹230, the portion was quite satisfying, and it came with a generous four pieces of chicken, making it feel like a solid deal for the price. What sets this biryani apart is, of course, the chicken itself. Instead of the usual boiled or fried chicken, you get smoky, flavorful pieces of chicken tikka mixed into the rice. This adds a beautiful char and a distinct flavor that pairs surprisingly well with the aromatic spices of the biryani. The rice was perfectly cooked, and it was clear that the biryani was prepared with care, as the flavors were well-balanced and not overly greasy. The four pieces of chicken were tender and juicy, and the combination of the smoky chicken with the spiced rice made for a memorable meal. For the price, the quality and the portion size are excellent. It's a great option for anyone in Raipur looking to try a slightly different kind of biryani without breaking the bank. Read moreSince the opening of this place in Chandra Planet, the crowd in the building has increased a lot. The place is right on the main road that is Ring Road No 1. Hard to miss with big catchy sign boards on road side.
The ambience is really good. Everything is clean, tidy, polished and well maintained. Cleanliness is well maintained. The place has warm ambience with running television on one side wall. The place has 2 floors. 1 ground and one 1st floor. On both floors, staff is always available to take your order.
The staff are very polite and welcoming. The food is also delicious. Had both veg and non veg here. From starters to main course I got to try a good number of dishes. Everything was well served. Hot, fresh and tasty. Biryani is good though not the best in raipur but still a good one.
If you are looking to visit this place for dining. I will highly recommend trying it. It is worth it. There is one more restaurant just behind the Anna Punjabi named Kake The Biryani. It is also same as this place. Now I often have to toss which place to go as both offer similarly...
Read moreExtremely disappointed and felt hurt as I was having a need to be respectfully accomodated and bless my eyes with positive environment. The male receptionist was already exceedingly bothered, don't know what the reason could be but it certainly ruined the whole experience. I was feeling already intense and I made my mind that I would be sitting upstairs and enjoying food though the receptionist asked me to sit downstairs and he was saying the staff is not arrived yet, it was 6:30 PM already, the disappointment came from the way they speak to the customers, there was certainly no positive vibrations, and he was extremely tenses and rude, kindly check such things while having food in any restaurant, it certainly plays a huge role and impacts your current moment.
I'm serving a one-star for that moment, and I truly think that money doesn't deserve...
