KISSATEN TOSTADOR — Restaurant in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

Walking through Arroyo, one of the most beautiful streets in Retiro, I found this cute coffeehouse. The most curious thing is that when you arrive, you notice that instead of a cafeteria, there is a fine wine shop. You must ring the bell to be attended and have access to it. Then you go through this little stairs and finally, you arrive at the place. The space is small, but super cozy🤗 The decoration is minimalist and yes, if it reminded you of the Asian style, you were right! Since it is inspired by oriental coffeeshops. The service is excellent and the coffee, honestly, one of the best I've had in CABA. There's not variety in the menu because it's mainly focused on the ☕. They have coffee from different countries such as: Colombia, Brazil, Peru, Guatemala. And they also have some really cute pottery...

Un pequeño café de especialidad que se ubica en un primer piso por la calle Arroyo. Un lugar agradable, con decoración minimalista y música relajante que invita a quedarse y disfrutar de la vista a la calle Y disfrutar el entorno. Cuentan con opciones dulces para acompañar.

Leí la review de otra Local Guide y mencionaban que en la planta baja se encuentra el local de vinos y que hay un timbre disponible por si la puerta estaba cerrada. Por suerte, que tenía ese tip para buscar y encontrar rápidamente el timbre.

Luego, de subir la escalera encontramos el local luminoso y con obras de pintura que recuerdan al sumi e (no tradicional). Venden café de Brasil, Bolivia, Peru y Costa Rica y vajilla. El café Lo tuestan en el lugar. Por lo cual, llega del productor a ellos.

La atención es Excelente y te explican si necesitas conocer más. Es evidente que saben lo que hacen. Con más o con menos tecnicismos logran que la taza se disfrute el 100%. La temperatura es ideal para beberlo sin demoras. El flat white con la temperatura precisa de la leche para que se destaque el dulzor y cremosidad equilibrando el café. En pocos lugares pude disfrutarlo de igual modo. Me faltan muchos por recorrer aún pero puedo perfilar que en los lugares que están atentos al más mínimo detalle son los que logran la mejor expresión de la taza, las que más me sorprenden y encantan.

Notas que sentí del Doppio de Costa Rica 🇨🇷 (desconozco aún los términos técnicos del mundo del café)

Inside of a wine bar, take stairs and it will great you a small but cozy Japanese inspired ambience, coffee shop. Not only it would offer you a a really nice quality of coffee but since there are a brew shot, you would find their selection of coffee grains to take with you. A small curation of pattiseries and Japanese sweets. Highly recommended if you want to lunch small, enjoy something sweet in the afternoon with you friend/lover.
